As the volume of field service and refurbishment increases, NCSS has established the Component and Board Repair facility as a separate business unit. Set up in it's own facility with 1000 Sq.M. of workshop and storage space, the Component Repair facility is complementary to the rest of NCSS' business.
In offering this service, NCSS recognises that there are fewer competent repair facilities available in Australia. The NCSS investment bolsters a limited service and offers current and new NCSS Clients greater service availability.

In order to meet Client's needs NCSS has invested in a Industry standard Clean Room. Our facility includes two Laminar Flow Benches with de-ionised air at the engineer's benchtop.
Precautions have been established to complement this investment with appropriate processes to keep out inappropriate material that may contaminate items such as TFT screens.

Upon diagnosis of a faulty component, they are batched together with their appropriate traveler for bulk board repair. The NCSS facilities offer high power discrete, Surface Mounted (SMD) and the latest techniques of Ball Gated Array (BGA) to satisify the needs of even the most advanced mounting techniques.

Upon completion of the repair, products are forwarded to that heat soak benches where they are soaked for up to 24 hours. Upon completion of this testing, successful items are processed via the Clean and Pack operators who ensure packing to customers specifications.
