The Growth of NCSS
As a result of the reserves accumulated through profitable operations, in the 1990's NCSS was in a position to take advantage of developing technologies and opportunities as they occurred.
In 1994, NCSS completed the acquisition of the business of Harris-Adacom in the UK. Harris Adacom had over two hundred 3270 network clients, which provided a viable base in the largest market in the world (Europe).
In Australia in 1996 the acquisition of the maintenance businesses of two further providers, Moore Information Systems, a Dataproducts and Compaq provider and AAP Communications Services added a substantial number of clients to our ever-growing customer base.
Also in 1996, the acquisition of a fourth-party workshop business from NGP Limited in the UK provided a complementary business for the Harris-Adacom third-party operations and increased our involvement with suppliers such as Compaq, Tatung, Mitac, Samsung, TVM, IBM, and others.
Specialising with relationships with large suppliers, NCSS expanded with the likes of Sony Computer Entertainment for Playstation repairs and more recently with NCR for the country wide delivery for selected ATM (Automated Teller Machines) machines. We continue to expand our services with suppliers and see the logic of our structured services and software as the key to the future of NCSS.
