NCSS Maintenance Services Pty Limited, already known to Mass Merchants for in and out of warranty service for Apple iPod and Apple Laptops, have developed a Computer Repair service that can assist the Mass Merchants to improve customer service and profits.

The service is a Web based facility that offers retailers, who have access to the Web in store, the ability to log onto the NCSS Mass Merchant Web site and validate warranties. When a warranty is confirmed, NCSS instruct the Mass Merchant retailer in ways to properly pack the product. For a small additional charge NCSS will send out a flat packed box suitable for protection of the product during transit and handling.

Once registered, a courier arrives to pick up the properly packed unit and deliver it to the nearest NCSS Repair Center.

If the unit is in warranty, it is processed by the NCSS Repair Center and returned. End Users and Mass merchants can see the status of the repairs on line purely by searching NCSS' web site for the appropriate call number.

In the event the unit is not in warranty and it is sent to NCSS for appraisal, it will be diagnosed and a quotation issued. Upon approval and payment, the unit is repaired and returned to the End User or Mass Merchant as required. An SMS is sent to the End User advising them, if they opt in to the free service, that their unit is being delivered or it is available for pick up at the NCSS repair facility near them.

An alternate “retailer assist” 1800 number is available to log the calls manually and obtain the same service and process as offered by the Web based system.

Once the Mass Merchant Retailer has registered the unit, his task is mostly done.
