About NCSS
National Computer Systems & Services Pty. Limited was established in 1987 with an aim to deliver nation-wide service and support to the computer user community in Australia.
The directors' expertise in the computer industry encompassed substantial experience in the maintenance industry in Europe and Africa as well as Australia.
NCSS's evolutionary years involved the service of large mainframe-based networks for end users and on behalf of outsourced suppliers. This experience consolidated NCSS's relationships with a nation-wide group of service delivery agents.
The change of technology to PC-based systems meant a change of direction for NCSS' customers, and with that, a substantial element of our business changed its technology base.
Having established a service delivery network through the use of agents throughout Australia, NCSS was not burdened with entrenched overheads as were traditional maintenance providers. NCSS was far more competitive and responsive as a result. Whilst other maintenance providers perished or outsourced their services, NCSS took on new business and diversified its existing roles to take advantage of newly-developed and adopted technologies.
