web site is the vehicle for providing information about NCSS, how we
deliver services and what those services are.
Our
site is also a facility for providing technical information, access
to our systems for those authorised and an on line ordering facility
for the sale of NCSS and related products.
Like
many companies, NCSS is continually reinvesting in itself, enabling
us to be able to respond to the changes in our market. Indeed, we
believe that this strategy has served us well and allowed us to grow
to one of the major service suppliers in Australia.
Fundamental
to our new business strategy is the establishment of a service and
facilities to address the needs of businesses who are seeking a
Return On Investment (ROI) for the substantial sums they continue to
invest in desktop products.
Users
feel that Desktop products are continually being upgraded (technology
refresh) and never achieve the promised productivity. There is a need
for a stable, cheap and transferable environment on the desktop and
within network services.

environment, we believe is Linux!
NCSS was so interested in
the Linux environment that it committed to and has transitioned
the entire business to a Linux platform. This includes the
maintenance of “legacy systems” in the new environment. There
have been substantial bottom line benefits for NCSS, including the
elimination of a complete phase of hardware upgrades.

transition to Linux, NCSS felt that there was at that time a lack of
a “commercial strength support capability” and as a result of our
experience. we are now in a position to offer that expertise to
others. At last, we believe that with our infrastructure and
experience, users can consider realising the overwhelming cost
